Pictures of Sony’s upcoming budget phone Xperia E4 leaked!

After announcing its budget smartphone Xperia E3 at the IFA 2014 in September this year, Sony is reportedly working on its successor, the Xperia E4. A Polish website Teleguru has come out with a few pictures supposed to be those of the Sony Xperia E4 prototype, E2105.


The Xperia E4 will come in two variants – Single SIM (model no. E2105) and Dual SIM (model no. E2115).  The pictures do not show the Sony logo as they have been hidden by a sticker. The two devices had first appeared in the Indonesian Postel site some days ago as can be seen in the following image:

The images show Xperia E4 to have thinner bezels and rounded corners compared to E3 and it is also slightly larger with 5-inch QHD (540 x 960p resolution) display. The Xperia E3 has a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 960p. The E4 will be powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and Mali-400 MP4 GPU. It will have 1GB of RAM and run Android 4.4.4 Kitkat which will be later upgraded to 5.0 Lollipop. The backside of the handset will be made of textured hard plastic giving it a good grip. All in all, it looks like a nice budget phone.

According to the source, Sony will launch Xperia E4 at the Mobile World Congress in March 2015 to be held in Barcelona and release the same in markets by the end of March. The price is rumored to be around $200.

Mika M3 Now Officially Available In Greece





Gigabyte launched a bunch of new Android Smartphones all through last month. It looks like the M3 is going to be a new Mika Model that will go together with the Gsmart Mika M2.








Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 has now officially launched in Greece. Other devices have also been publicized and should be arriving in the market soon.

The Mika M3 comes with a huge list of specifications. Mika M3 has a 5-inch 720p IPS touch screen. It has an LED flash 13 MP camera, and the front camera Snapper is 8 MP. The camera’s quality isn’t bad either. It offers expandable storage with a microSD card slot, and it weighs 146g. Its dimensions are a nice 144 x 70.5 x 8.3 mm.








Many people want to know the battery timing. Let me tell you, the battery timing should be good enough. It is powered by a 1,900 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the Mika M3 handset has HSPA+ but it doesn’t support 4G.


This phone will have the dual-SIM feature as well. Using the Dual Sim feature, you can have two mobile networks active on the phone at the same time. You can also save contacts on both SIM cards.


The Mika M3 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat.


The Gigabyte GSmart Mika M3 is expected to be available in Greece soon. Its our guess but it should arrive in Greece near the end of this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos Gets Released In China





Samsung released three versions of its brand new Galaxy Note 4 phones in China. These phones come with with Dual-SIM support. The Dual-SIM feature allows you to have two networks active on the phone at the same time. You can receive and send messages from any SIM you want. You can also call other people and receive calls from both SIM cards.








On all three models there is a sort of primary and secondary SIM card slot. The primary or first slot supports LTE both types of LTE (TDD and FDD). It supports Chinese and international LTE.


The secondary or second slot is to be used for 2G only (900/1800/1900). All of these slots use MicroSIM cards.








The carrier-free version of the phone supports both TDD and LTE. This allows support for China Telecom and China Unicom as well as one more carrier. This means that it should work on either of these Chinese carriers. The China Telecom version and the SIM-free version both offer 2G and 3G CDMA on both SIMs.


As for the prices, the single SIM version is to sell for CNY 5,200. The SIM-free version of the phone is priced at CNY 5,400. This is about $880 or €700. We still don’t know the price of the other two phones though.

Samsung Galaxy Star 2 is the new addition in the Samsung smartphone series. It is the new Android phone in the company’s list. This phone is described as the “stylish and portable” single handset. The design is for single handed usage in mind. It is an entry level cell phone which is budget friendly.


Samsung Galaxy Star 2 design is similar to the faux leather present in Galaxy Note 3. This handset has the display of 3.5-inch and ports and buttons are located at the usual places. As the latest Samsung models, this phone also features physical ‘Home’ key, the ‘Back’ key and the button to display recent apps. Presented colors are black and white.


This phones runs on Android 4.4 KitKat which is a good thing as the other phone features are very basic. The TouchWiz custom UI experience is also present.


Other features of Samsung Galaxy Star 2 are:

•    Unknown model and make of 1GHz single-core processor

•    512 MB RAM

•    4 GB built in with micro SD card support

•    Very basic back camera of 2-megapixel without flash

•    Battery provided is 1300mAh

•    Back of the phone has the place to resides two SIM, which means this is a dual-SIM phone

•    8 downloadable games by Gameloft are already provided with the phone


This is all about Samsung Galaxy Star 2. On the whole, this is a very basic phone with Android support. It is a low-end phone but these features – if available in lesser rates – make it a good phone to have.
