We recently saw what could be the Sony Xperia Z4 clearing the FCC and now some new photos of the handset have been leaked online. The photos are of Sony’s handset model E6533 that was spotted at the GFXBench a few days back. We now get to see how the outside of this E6533 will look like.
The GFX Benchmark tests as well as these leaked images show that Qualcomm Snapdragon powers the Sony E6533 handset which means this could very well be the upcoming Xperia Z4. The photos have been posted by in2mobile.gr and the above image shows the screen of the handset which appears to be an LCD display with good color rendering. The photos also show that the back of the device is made of glass like its predecessors, and it has a 20.7MP rear camera.
Unfortunately, not much else is revealed about the device but the Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to feature a 5.1-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with 432ppi pixel density. The handset would be allegedly powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 1.9GHz and this is confirmed by the leaked photo below that shows the device having Qualcomm MSM8994 which is the codename for Snapdragon 810. Graphics would be taken care of by the Adreno 430 GPU inside.
The Sony Xperia Z4 would probably have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage of which 23GB will be available to the user. There would be a microSD slot for memory expansion, a 20.7MP rear camera as already mentioned, and a 5MP selfie camera. The battery would be a 3400mAh one providing a long battery life and the device is expected to be water and dust resistant with IP68 certification. The Sony Xperia Z4 will come with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
We will have to wait till the company officially unveils the Sony Xperia Z4 to know whether the rumors are indeed true.
