The much rumored Samsung Galaxy S6 has been recently spotted in the Bluetooth SIG base. Some few reports for the handset have emerged over the past few weeks, but these are the official documents mentioning the handset. However, the document doesn’t show the name of the device but shows a handset with the codename of SM-G890A which is same to the earlier leaked version of Galaxy S6 Active by AT&T.
In accordance to the leaked user agent profile the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active with codename SM-890A will have a display running the QHD 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The display panel is likely to be a 5.1inch Super AMOLED one. The hardware specs under the hood for the handset would be similar to that of the Galaxy S6, which is an Exynos 7420 chipset, 3GB of RAM memory, 16MP of primary camera to its back, 5MP secondary camera to its front. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is said to be thicker and bit larger compared to both the Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6. However, this would come with added feature like a microSD card slot and more larger 3500mAh of battery life. Just like all the other previous Active versions, this too would be water and dust proof.
The handset is expected to make arrival anytime this summer.
