Huawei is planning to unveil a new high-end smartphone, the Huawei Glory 6 Plus on December 16. The device has already been certified by TENNA last month. According to latest leaks, the device will be sporting the company’s own Kirin 925 octa-core processor. The device is said to cost 3,299 Yuan equivalent to about US$537.

Another rumor doing the rounds is that the Glory 6 Plus will have a display resolution of 1800 x 1080 pixels and not the FHD 1920 x 1080 pixels as thought earlier. Other specifications of the handset include a 5.5-inch display, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. As mentioned earlier, the handset will have a Kirin 925 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.

The Glory 6 Plus will feature dual 8 MP cameras on the back that can capture 3D images and will also have a re-focus feature like the one present in HTC One M8. The handset will come with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with the company’s own Emotion UI on top. The device will offer 4G LTE connectivity support.

The following pic shows that Huawei’s Kirin 925 is the world’s first LTE Cat6 Octa-core chipset:

The price tag of $537 seems to be rather steep but its specs are quite handsome and the dual camera is also a unique feature.
