Jolla confirms the split screen feature for its Sailfish tablet

Last month, we told you about Jolla launching a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo and now the campaign has come to an end successfully with Jolla managing to raise $1,824,055 which is much more than its initial goal of $380,000. The upcoming Jolla tablet would be more enhanced having a split screen feature and an addition of microSD card slot supporting 128GB of additional storage.

Reports show that Jolla also planned to add the 3.5G connectivity feature for additional cost of $30 but that required an total funding of $2.5 million which was not possible. Moreover, the good thing is that all people who have contributed for Jolla’s campaign with $209 and more would get a Jolla Tablet by the May 2015.

Looking to some of its technical specifications, the Jolla Tablet would have a 7.9inch display to its front with 1536×2048 pixel resolution, a 5MP primary camera to its back, 2GB of RAM memory and 32GB of internal memory, a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.8GHz and a 4300 battery backup. The tablet would be running the Sailfish OS 2.0 which would also allow users to run the Android apps. For more details regarding the tablet, click the source link below.
