New Galaxy Note 4 teaser focuses on handwriting and S Pen

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is all set to break cover in just a few days at an UNPACKED event on 3^rd September. In its latest released teaser, the company has majorly focused on handwriting and how could it be improved with the famous S Pen feature this video shows that how the S Pen feature for the Galaxy Note is able to gather some useful information through handwriting instead of just a QWERTY keyboard.

At the end of the video, the company reminds about the upcoming September 3 event asking “are you ready to Note?” Even before the release the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has managed to raise much heat and anxiety within Samsung fans with many rumors for the device to be hosting some novel features are being floated since long.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a 5.7inch display with Full HD resolution, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, powerful camera sensors at the front and back and much more. The device is expected to arrive with unique features and accessories like measuring sun’s radiation and offering Ultrasonic covers and much more. Its just a matter of few coming days for things to get clear when Samsung will host its UNPACKED event for its upcoming Galaxy Note flagship.

A new patent for the Galaxy Note S Pen filed

Korean tech giant Samsung has filed a new patent for the Galaxy Note S Pen feature which comes with Note series of handsets. Samsung has filed this patent in its hometown of Korea which shows that the company is working upon a method that could recognize the pen input via ultrasonic sensors rather than a digitizer. The patent reports that there will be three sensors which will record two dimensional data while additional 4 sensors would be pitched to record three dimensional data.

This is surely not for the first time that we are hearing of such kind of technology. Earlier back at the CES event this year, chip making giant Qualcomm had show this feature and has been seen in its MDP tablet designed by the company itself. With the use of this ultrasonic sensors, the need for digitizers will be nil which could help in getting the device slimmer by nearly a millimeter. Moreover, bringing this new technology in action would also help OEM to reduce manufacturing cost of the device. Here is video released earlier by Qualcomm that shows ultrasonic touch technology.
