Sony’s upcoming flagship the Xperia Z4 continues to be much in the news. We recently saw some 3D renderings supposed to be those of the Sony Xperia Z4. Now @onleaks has come out with some photos of a silicon case that alleged to be designed for the handset on Twitter.
The photos show the white case from all sides. The smartphone shown beside the case looks similar to an Xperia Z3v but well, all Xperia Z phones look almost similar and the case may be meant for the new Sony Xperia Z4. Let’s take it with a pinch of salt.
In appearance, the upcoming Xperia Z4 features only some minor changes compared to its predecessor, the Xperia Z3. Their size is almost the same. However, under the hood, the next gen handset is sure to have several upgrades such as higher screen resolution as well as a more powerful processor and camera.
Rumored specs of the device include a 5.2-inch QHD or FHD display, a Qualcomm 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, a 3GB of DDR4 RAM, a 20.7MP rear camera with the new Sony IMX230 sensor and maybe a 5MP selfie shooter. It is also expected to run the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.
There is no word from Sony regarding the launch of its next flagship but it is expected to be unveiled this summer, possibly somewhere between June and September. Meanwhile, we will keep you updated if anything new pops up about the device.
