Samsung is going to launch a new memory card chip for the mid range mobile phones to enhance the storage space. The new 3-bit NAND-based eMMC 5.0 128 GB memory card is the first memory card that is going to use in the newer mid range smartphones.
However, this is not the memory chip that has used on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. In fact, Samsung has made the new memory card chip focusing of the value of the tablets and handsets.
The newly developed memory storage will provide 128 GB eMMC 5.0 flash memories to the users with 6,000 input output operations per second to the handset. With 260 MB per second data reading capability, it will provide 5,000 IOPS for the random working policy.
According to the mobile brand, this is the new memory card technology for the mid range mobile phones and tablets to offer expended storage. Moreover, the functionality and technology is enough good to provide multi-tasking offer to the users.
We can expect the new memory card in the market for our mid range smartphones. But no news from Samsung about the new 128 GB of storage space.
