Next year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 5 likely to have company’s own graphic processor

Just when Samsung’s this year’s flagship handsets Galaxy Note 4 and the Note Edge are gaining popularity, news for the upcoming Note 5 have already started floating in the market. Recent rumors coming from the company’s hometown South Korea show that the upcoming Note 5 might have a graphic processor completely designed by Samsung themselves. The company has recently released its own Exynos chipsets with ARM architecture but the graphics handling is carried out with the ARM’s Mali family.

Qualcomm who makes the very popular Snapdragon chipsets for flagship handsets makes use of the Adreno GPU units within them having its own design offering a much better control over its performance ratio and thermal efficiency.

Rumors show that the Korean giant is all set in making its own GPU units by the mid of 2015 by incorporating the same in the Exynos chipsets that would be made completely in-house. This shows that the company might get ready with their new Exynos chipsets by next year and we would wait and surely like to get an official news from the company.
