The rumors were already out last month about Samsung’s new affordable smartphone Galaxy J1 (SM-J100 model number). We can have a look at several leaked snapshots posted by Sam Mobile, although the smartphone is yet to be announced by Korean Giants.
Galaxy J1 is looking similar to the same Galaxy model series which has already turned off the consumers towards Samsung. It is powered by 64-bit quad-core processor(Marvell PXA1908) clocked at 1.2 GHz, despite being a pretty low-end device.
The new Samsung smartphone features a 4.3-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels, 5 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera,1 GB of RAM and a 4 GB of expandable onboard storage. It is running on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and having average 1850 mAh battery. Galaxy J1 is reportedly to have Ultra Power Saving mode alike higher-end Galaxy devices. Moreover, it is expected to come with single-SIM as well as dual-SIM variant supporting LTE networks.
Samsung is about to launch Galaxy J1 later this month itself. We believe that smartphone will be mainly targeted at emerging markets like India and China respectively.
