Apple’s New MacBook Dismantle Reveal that It Will be harder to Repair

Apple has launched its new MacBook which is thinner and lighter than the rest of the MacBook available so far. Weighing around 2 pounds, the device offers pretty good specifications such as enhanced retina display.


The new MacBook runs on a 1.1GHz dual-core with Turbo Boost up to 2.4GHz Intel’s Core M processor or a 1.2GHz dual-core Core M with a Turbo Boost of 2.6GHz or a 1.3GHz dual-core Core M with 2.9GHz Turbo Boost. The graphic is using Intel’s Intel HD Graphics 5300 chipset with a 8GB of RAM and a 256GB of internal storage. For the internal storage, it also comes with a 512GB of RAM.


When you open the device, the pentalobe and tri-wing screws are screwed with special tools and the battery is completely glued which makes it difficult to remove. The processor, RAM memory and flash memory are being soldered to the logic board. This arrangement making it difficult to open nevertheless to fix the component as there is almost nothing you can replace.


All MacBook normally is difficult to crack open and repair if needed be, however, it seems like the new MacBook will be more difficult to do it. Therefore when you want to buy the new MacBook , it is advisable if you also purchase the AppleCare and if necessary the extended version since you might never know when are you going to use it.
