Huawei has announced that the company is releasing Honor Holly for Indian Market and it is will be available starting on 16 October 2014. People who are interested in purchasing the device are able to purchase it online only from Flipkart since it is exclusively sold there. The starting price of the product is from $118 or INT 6,999.
Huawei Honor Holly comes with 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor with 1GB RAM. It has 5-inch HD IPS 720p display resolution. The tablet is generally made from plastic for most of the tablet’s body. The screen has a glossy look, making it difficult to view when the tablet is used outdoor. However, it does not give a problem using it indoor with the brightness set to automatic.
It comes with 2 cameras, a 2MP front facing camera and a 8MP rear camera. The rear camera takes a bit time to focus and slow overall when taking pictures indoor. The picture results also come with a little blurry.
It is also come with 16GB internal storage with expandable microSD. The smartphone has very interesting dual-SIM functionality where the user is able to choose which network he wants to connect to when making calls or sending texts. This feature will results in lower communication cost for the user monthly.
It is pre-installed with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Overall the device has a decent quality considering the price that it offered. It also can be an alternative to recently released Android One.
