Recently Archos has officially announced its new product, 50 Diamond at an event in Paris today. 50 Diamond will be quite on a high-end phone category for the French company which normally focused on extremely cheap devices. The best part of it is that the phone will be pricing at €199.99.
Archos 50 Diamond comes with a 5-inch FHD IPS touchscreen which gives a resolution up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and 440 ppi. It will be running on 64-bit Octo-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with an octa-core CPU sporting four Cortex-A53 cores that can go up to 1.7GHz as well as Adreno 405 as the GPU processor. On top of that, it has a 16GB Flash Storage memory and a microSD slot for external storage and a 2GB of RAM.
Archos 50 Diamond is equipped with a Dual SIM feature as well as 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity. The battery capacity is 2,700mAh and it runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Unfortunately, it will only available starting in early 2015.
