Many smartphone manufacturers across the globe have been working since long in introducing the retina scanner in their flagship handset and now this it’s Vivo who is making the news! It’s the much rumored Vivo X5 Pro which is supposed to host this technology as the latest teaser from the company indicates so. This teaser shows how the retina scanner will read the unique vein patterns present in the eye offering more enhanced security.
Last time we saw a teaser which showed the Vivo X5 Pro capable of taking 32MP selfies using a technology which we have previously seen in the Oppo Find 7. Additionally, the device is said to have a 2.5D glass panels to its front and back equipped with a metal frame. The rear camera is said to be using the phase detection Auto Focus.
The Vivo X5 Pro is expected to have a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset under the hood along with a new Type-C USB connector on-board. This cable technology means that the plug could be used with either ends facing. A very interesting feature we are likely to see.
However, there is no specific word from the company regarding the unveiling of the handset. We will get you with the news as soon they reach us.
