The 2015 edition of Motorola Moto G likely to be announced on the 28th of July

TecMundo, a Brazilian website has recently stated that the third edition of the Motorola Moto G or we can say the 2015 edition of the Motorola Moto G is likely to be announced on the 28th of July. The website further states that the availability of the handset could also start from the very day itself!

The price for the handset has been tipped to 899 BRL in Brazil which means that it could cost as low as $179.99 in U.S. markets. Let us take a look at some of the specs for the device.

The Motorola Moto G is tipped to have a 5inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and is said to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset to its core. Its other features include a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing secondary camera. The device is said to come with two memory options. One with a 1GB of RAM memory and 8GB of internal storage and the other with a 2GB of RAM memory and 16GB of internal storage. Both the handsets are likely to have a microSD card support and a battery back-up of 2470mAh. According to TecMundo, the new Moto G is said to be water-resistant with probably a IPx7 certification.

We would certainly like to hear an official word on this from the company. Take a look at some of the renders for the device below.
