Samsung officially announces its new Galaxy Tab E

Samsung has officially announced its new affordable Android Tablet – the Galaxy Tab E which comes with a model number SM-T560 and has got some pretty advanced features on-board.


The Galaxy Tab E is slim with just 8.5mm of thickness. To its front lies a 9.6inch TFT display having a 800 x 1280 pixel resolution. To its heart lies the powerful quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. to its back lies a 5MP primary camera and the front has a 2MP secondary camera. The RAM memory for the device is 1.5GB and the tablet has got a 8GB of built-in storage supported with microSD card slot. The tablet has got a 5000mAh of battery life and runs the Android KitKat versions having pre-installed Microsoft Office apps.


The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a Wi-Fi only device and the next model of the tablet SM- T561 is said to be having 3G connectivity. The cost for the Wi-Fi model in Taiwan is around $225 and is said to be made available by this month end.


The tablet is expected to be launched in other market too. However, we have yet to hear an official word from the Korean tech giant regarding this. Check out the images below.
