Gionee, China’s Biggest Mobile Phone Manufacturer, Launched Elife E8 Which comes with 24MP Camera

In case most of you have not heard about Gionee, it is because the company does not really have a product which can be noticed in the global market, until recently. Gionee is one of China’s biggest mobile phone manufacturers. The company has just launched a new flagship smartphone at an event in China recently, which goes by the name Elife E8.


Gionee Elife E8 will run on a 64-bit Mediatek Helio X10 chipset with 2GHz octa-core MT6795 processor and comes with a 6-inch Quad HD display with 490ppi. For the GPU, the device will be using PowerVR 6200. On top of that, it will be embedded with a 3GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with external micro-SD. At the back of the phone, there will be a 23.7MP OIS camera with dual tone LED flash which can do video recording up to 4K resolution quality. The fingerprint sensor also can be found at the back of the smartphone. The device is powered up on a 3500mAh battery size.


Gionee Elife E8 offers a lossless zoom which is the first Android smartphone which is able to do so. The picture quality can be increased up to 100 MP resolutions by using a default image software which comes with the smartphone’s OS. Speaking about the smartphone’s OS, Gionee Elife E8 is running on the company’s own Amigo UI which built on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.


Gionee Elife E8 currently restricted to retail only in China starting on July 15 onwards which pricing of CNY 3,999 ($645). It is rumored to be launched in India starting from June end by the same name, however, in the international market, the smartphone is rebranded as Allview X2 Xtreme.
