Alleged rear cover images of the upcoming LG-made Nexus phone leak

Rumors suggest that Google is planning to launch two new Nexus devices this year, one made by LG and the other by Huawei. It is also rumored that the design of the new LG-made nexus will be totally new and not be based on LG G4 as was believed earlier. It will possibly feature a 3D dual camera and a fingerprint scanner.

Now @OnLeaks has posted some images on twitter showing the rear side of the upcoming LG-made nexus. They are images of the rear cover of the Nexus device and have come from a case manufacturer. It can be seen that the rear side has three cutouts. There are two holes one below the other which could accommodate the rumored dual camera. There is also a rectangular hole by their side where the flash unit of the camera could be placed.



Well, the images are said to be based on some “very early informations” and should be taken with a grain of salt as there may be several changes made to it by the time the final LG-made nexus is announced officially. It is rumored that both LG-made and Huawei-made Nexus devices will be running Android M out-of-the-box and could be launched in October this year.

Samsung Confirmed Rotative Circular Dial Feature for Smartwatch

Earlier today, Samsung has released an official announcement regarding the new feature for the smartwatch OS in the company’s Tizen Developer Summit 2015 in Bangalore. The OS which is known as the Tizen OS will be implemented for the smartwatch which built with a round bezel ring surrounding the product’s display screen. Therefore, by using this ring, users will be able to navigate through the apps by rotating it.


Tizen OS is Samsung’s open source OS for smartwatch especially those which is built to have a rounded display screen size. However, the company did not mention specifically that it is for the upcoming Gear A smartwatch or any other product. Gear A smartwatch will be Samsung’s first smartwatch with round display screen size and it is most probably going to have that feature.


On top of that, the device is also rumored to come with a dual-core Exynos processor, a 768MB RAM, a 4GB internal storage and a 250mAh battery size. Other features such as display resolution of 360 x 360, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as 2G cellular connectivity.


A recent rumors also mentioned that Gear A smartwatch will also have Samsung Pay capabilities but with limited functionality. There is no confirmation from Samsung regarding the specification so far but Samsung will officially showcase the device on August 13 in the Samsung’s event.

LG G Flex 3 Rumored to be showcased in March 2016 with Snapdragon 820 Processor

LG G Flex 3 is rumored to be showcased in March 2016 which is a few months away. As Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset is rumored to be released in December 2015, therefore, there is a speculation that the device will be powered up with the chipset. Another device which allegedly could be powered up by the same chipset will be Xiaomi Mi 5 and it is rumored to also be launched in March 2016.


According to a reliable source, it is mentioned that there will be no overheating issue with the newer chipset. Apart from the processor, LG G Flex 3 is also rumored to have a 6-inch QHD display screen with resolution of 1440 x 2560, a 4GB RAM, a 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further. There will be two cameras as per normal; the back camera is a 20.7MP while the front camera is an 8MP. On top of that the device comes with a fingerprint scanner which is going to be integrated with the home button.


LG G Flex 3 allegedly would have a metal body. However, there is no information whether the buttons would be arranged in a similar manner as its predecessor which all the control buttons was found at the back of the device. There is no official confirmation about the device specification currently. The official specification will be most probably released nearer to the launching date.

Nokia Lumia Codenamed McLaren Cancelled by Microsoft Rumored to have Experimental 3D Touch Navigation System

It is reported from various sources that Microsoft was working on a project which potentially could be the successor of Lumia 1020. The project is internally known as Nokia Lumia McLaren. However, the end result suggested that Microsoft has cancelled the project last year, but this does not prevent the handset images or some information about the device to be leaked out.


In the leaked video, it shows that Nokia Lumia McLaren was supposed to come with an experimental 3D Touch navigation system. The technology allows users to navigate through the menu without actually touching the display screen of the device. However, in the end the project was cancelled due to the rumor of the hardware incompatibilities as well as the insecurities regarding the developer adoption.


Another rumor mentions that McLaren could be built on mostly metal whereby plastics can only be seen at the phone’s bottom which was believed to house the antenna. On top of that, what makes the device easily recognizable was the protruding camera bump design at the back of the phone. No wonder, it was mentioned as the successor of Lumia 1020 as it was speculated to come with a 50MP camera sensor. In case most of you did not know, Lumia 1020 supports 41MP camera sensor.


Other speculations such as it could come with quad-core Snapdragon SoC as well as 2GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage space. However, all the above information is just based on rumors and leaks. There is no official information about the device.

Apart from announcing its three new smartphones, the Moto G 3rd gen, Moto X Play and Moto X Style, Moto also announced two new wireless headphones Moto Pulse and Moto Surround at its special event. Both the headphones are available for purchase through Motorola’s website.

Moto Pulse sports a compact on-ear design with soft ear cushions and a thin comfortable headband. The ear cups are rotating and can be folded for convenient storage while traveling.


The headset has a wireless range of up to 60 feet. It has some powerful 40mm speaker drivers and a built-in mic with which you can also take calls. This headset can pair with Android phones, iPhones, tablets and computers having Bluetooth with the Motorola Connect app and can connect simultaneously with two devices.


Moto Pulse has a battery life of up to 18 hours when fully charged. The headphones are available in two colors – Chalk or Black and come with a price tag of $59.99.

In addition to announcing the 2015 variant of the Motorola Moto G, the company also went out announcing two new handsets under the Moto X name. These two named as the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style come with some very excellent mid-range specs, ergonomic design with several color options.


Design and body


The Moto X Play as such hosts a minimalistic design but yet giving it an elegant look. The handset comes with some excellent metal frames, different color options and engravings. For the handset, the company has offered different Moto Shells and Moto Flip Shells as its cases as an extra protection to your handset with different color style options.


Hardware


Looking to its interior, the handset bakes a 64-bit 1.7Ghz octa-core chipset the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 that is seen in most of the mid-rangers these days. In addition, the device has a 2GB of RAM memory with two storage variants of 16/32GB. Both these handset have a expandable microSD card slot of 128GB.


Coming to its display, the handset comes with a 5.5” display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels however the handset doesn’t host a stereo speakers to its front like the one seen in its sibling Moto X Style. Additionally, the device comes with extremely good battery capacity of 3630mAh capacity that the company promises of 48 hours of “mixed usage” along with turbo charging.

Motorola Moto G 3rd gen officially announced, comes in two variants

Motorola has finally announced the third generation of its popular smartphone Moto G, putting an end to months of rumors and speculations. Motorola had introduced its first Moto G smartphone in November 2013 which was followed by Moto G Gen 2 in 2014. Both became hits due to their decent specs and affordable price tag. The new Moto G 3rd gen has also not disappointed the fans.
