iOS 8 promises better battery retention

Apple might be our favorite when it comes to delivering the best software and camera but battery is always considered to be inferior in comparision. The battery has been the source of many complaints from Apple users and we are glad that Apple recognized that there was a lot of room for improvement. According to a new iOS 8 beta user, the Cupertino company is introducing tons of new features for battery retention.

Hamza Sood has been hard exploring the new iOS 8 beta 1 firmware, and revealed many interesting details on the battery. A new feature on the iOS 8 is apparently going to inform the user about all the apps which are running in the background and consuming battery life. Hamza Sood added that the analytics will provide info on specific times of day where battery power is in higher demand, specially where particular features like Bluetooth and AirPlay are eking away those milliamp hrs.

Again, offered effective ways by which these features are hidden deep within the firmware, there’s no telling when or if they’ll be considered ready for prime-time television, but unlike some of Sood’s other lookings for, rolling this out to the public looks like a no-brainer from Apple’s factor of perspective.

As Android customers will verify, these kinds of functions are commonplace on Google-based mobile phones many thanks to a wealth of third-party electric battery administration apps at the Play Store, yet given effective ways by which iOS’s closed-off attributes does not allow access to this sort of information, customers would undoubtedly invite such a feature as a native execution.
